Tennis

For students in Grades 6-12, we're offering Tennis on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15-5:00pm starting on Monday, April 19th and ending on Wednesday, May 19th.  Learn more details in this tennis flyer.

 
Release Forms

In order to participate in Veritas Christian Academy athletics programs, parents must read, agree to, and sign the Release and Waiver of Liability form for the associated sport.  Please print, sign, and return the form to the school office prior to participation in the athletics program.

Days 7 & 8: March 27-28

I am presently standing waiting for the students to come out of St. Peter's Bascilica. We have already walked thru the colosseum, the Forum, and have bussed it to the Vatican. They will soon be walking thru the Vatican Museum, then the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish steps.

Day 6: Friday, March 26

Yesterday March 26th, we had a beautiful day if weather and seeing the sights of Prague. We walked all the way across the Karlov Most (St. Charles bridge), one of the most beautiful bridges in Europe, to the Prague Castle.

Day 5: Thursday, March 25

Yesterday morning we packed and said our good-byes to Peter Cernak, who put together our activities and took care of our every need. It was a sad departure as new relationships had been established with Peter and other missionaries and experiences.

Yesterday was another hallmark day in the lives of the students. (We are leaving shortly for Prague and I may have to end this without giving a complete report.)

Yesterday was a real eye opener as we walked through a gypsy village and met them face-to-face inviting them to our program in the evening.

Day 2: Monday, March 22

Good morning everyone,

Writing to tell you all that your children are a blessing and wonderful to work with. We are having a blast. Yesterday we ministered to the children at the hospital and had a growing experience as each had a chance to step forward and lead on some way.

Day 1: Sunday, March 21

We are up (at 7:30 am) eating breakfast in our room: fruit, croissants, cereal, bread & jam, nutrella, milk, pastries, ham & cheese, etc. We are going to do some preparations for our work at the hospital. We will be taking a tour of the city today as well. Well everyone is doing well and is in good spirits. We got to bed around 1:00 AM our time.

 

 
Music Man

 

Veritas Christian Academy expanded its drama program in Spring 2010 with a production of The Music Man Jr. This musical, under the direction of Mr. Rich Dalmas, musical direction of Mrs. Pat Wilthew, and assistant direction and choreography of Mrs. Julianne Baker, involved students from the upper and lower schools. Thanks to EVERYONE who helped make our production a smashing success!

Veritas Christian Academy launched its drama program in Spring 2009 with a production of Annie Jr. This musical, under the direction of Mr. Rich Dalmas and the musical direction of Mrs. Pat Wilthew, involved students from first through twelfth grade. Thanks to EVERYONE who helped make our debut a rousing success! We hope to do more productions in the years to come.
