Yesterday was a real eye opener as we walked through a gypsy village and met them face-to-face inviting them to our program in the evening.
When 4:00 pm came about we had well over 100 people that showed up. The Veritas students did an outstanding job representing Christ. Lauren, Alyssa, and Hillary opened with their angelic voices and set the tone for a skit that the boys and girls did. Then the boys took all the children to another room and did a puppet show. Meanwhile Nancy & I shares our testimony with the adults and teenagers. We then concluded with Hillary sing a solo. They were so impressive!!! Afterwards we stayed around for at least an hour to pray with people, fellowship with the gypsies and just love on them. (just a side note: the gypsies are thee most hated people group in Europe). For white people to come to their village and spend time with them was so significant. We had some touching experiences of people that responded to the ministry and desired prayer.
Today (in about 20 minutes) the students will be going to the high school to present their theses. The presentation is the most challenging part and has really helped them think through their topic. Having all that time working thru Chuck Colson's book has really helped them. We ran thru all the theses last night in preparation and I feel they are going to really grow today. I an very proud of them.
