 Fall 2009 Junior Varsity Golf
We are expanding the golf program at Veritas Christian Academy. This year, we are beginning a junior varsity golf program for middle school boys and girls. For the past 2 seasons, the varsity golf team that has competed with other private schools in Tidewater and done very well considering the size of the school. We would like to begin developing the talent of the younger students this fall.
Students will play a few rounds of golf on a 9-hole executive golf course in Virginia Beach under my supervision. We want to give students an opportunity to experiment with the game of golf and see if they would be interested in playing in the spring at a more competitive level. I will teach them some basic fundamentals of the golf swing, course etiquette, course management and some rules of the game. Students are welcome to come out and learn the game for fun or work on their game for the spring. If you are interested in your son/daughter participating in the JV golf program, please register with Sylvia Bell and complete the Release and Waiver of Liability Form. Here is some important information that you will need to know.
Ages: Middle and High School Boys and Girls
Dates: Sept 11, 18, 25, Oct 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Time: Friday afternoons 3:30-5:00

Cost: $9 for 9 holes.
Equipment: Students need their own set of clubs or just a few clubs and a bag (can use Dad’s clubs).
