On Wednesdays from 3:00 to 3:40 pm, Mrs. Wilthew works with the Veritas Recorder Orchestra. The first 10 minutes is a review of basic reading and the fundamental techniques for playing. The remaining rehearsal is devoted to practicing concert pieces for Christmas and Graduation. Recorder Orchestra is open to all students from 4th through 12th grade. Students should use their own recorder and should provide a 3 ring binder to hold the provided musical scores. There is a limited amount of music stands, so it is suggested that you consider purchasing a black portable music stand for practice and performances for your student.
