Veritas Christian Academy can not survive on tuition alone. Our goal is to raise 80% of the school’s money through tuition and known sources of income. The other 20%, however, comes from donations. These donations are critically necessary to the continued prosperity of the school.
Veritas Christian Academy wants to approach fund raising in a biblical manner. We know that the Bible requires Christians to be “cheerful givers” and Veritas Christian Academy wants to strive to be a place that parents, grandparents, friends, and eventually alumni will want to support.
The school is working hard to promote an atmosphere of cheerful giving. In order to do that the school is committed to having only two major fundraisers a year. Veritas does not want to burden parents with the hassle of never-ending fundraisers that “nickel and dime” the same families over and over again. We also want to make sure that our fundraisers are enjoyable times for all of the people involved.
Current Fund Raisers
Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night
Join us for Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night at the North Battlefield restaurant (next to Sam's Club) on the first Tuesday of each month from 5:00-8:00pm.
Pizza Days
Wednesdays are pizza days at lunch. Parents can pre-order pizza slices at $2.00 per slice. Pizza forms and money (exact cash or check made out to VCA - Joy Club) must be turned in on Tuesday by 10:30am. All profits go the Joy Club. Print a pizza form here.
Friday Blue Jeans Days
Selected Fridays are designated as blue jeans days. Students interested in participating must pay $2 for the privilege of dressing down and may wear a Veritas T-Shirt, Hoodie, or Sweatshirt sold by the VCA Joy Club with their blue jeans throughout the day on Friday. However, the usual Dress Code concerning Hoodies and Sweatshirts is in effect all other days and for those students not participating in the Friday Blue Jeans Day fundraiser. T-Shirt, Hoodie, and Sweatshirt orders will be placed periodically throughout the year. Complete the T-Shirt Order Form to place your order for this apparel.
Box Tops for Education
Collecting Box Tops is an easy way to earn cash for our school. You can find the Box Tops coupons, worth 10¢ each, on specially marked products from General Mills (cereals), Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, and Old El Paso to name a few. Simply clip the coupons and place them in the specially marked container at school. We will redeem these coupons 2 times per year: October and January. Please contact Robin Hull if you have any questions and thank you for choosing to make a difference for our school with Box Tops!
