The Virginian Pilot covered the third annual Colonial Dance (2008) in an article in the Chesapeake Clipper. In the December 7, 2009 article entitled "Step 1, Step 2 and Allemande", correspondent Barbara J. Woerner wrote: With skirts swirling and gentleman bowing, Colonial history came alive recently for Veritas Christian Academy’s students and families.
They spent an evening executing allemandes, arming, undertaking balance and swing and other dance moves at the school’s third annual Colonial Christmas Dance and Feast on Dec. 1 at Founders Inn and Spa in Virginia Beach.
Pilot subscribers can log in and read the complete article with pictures or anyone can read the December 2008 issue of The Verbum for a report from VCA's student newspaper.
