The Sunday, August 24, 2008 issue of the Virginian Pilot's Chesapeake Clipper featured a two-page profile of Veritas Christian Academy. The article discussed the history of the school and the vision for VCA. "We want to see young Christian men and women take key positions in society," Headmaster Mr. Sean Elgut declared. The reporter also shared a vingette of Mrs. Dart's third and fourth grade students reading Latin texts and recognizing Hannibal in a tapistry at the Chrysler Museum of Art. Veritas Christian Academy qualified to be on the Battle of the Brains show for the 2008-2009 season. Out of over 100 schools from central and eastern Virginia, VCA placed 12th in the qualifications. Congratulations to our qualifying team and we look forward to an exciting year!
