Dress Code Print

Updated August 2010

For returning families, please note that we have some changes for the 2010-2011 academic year.  See the attached Dress Code file for more information.

We are committed to building the character of Christ within each upon the individual student's Christian commitment. In keeping with this mission, all students will be expected to maintain a standard of dress conducive to the Excellency of Christ in the learning environment, and at the same time, to govern their personal attire and appearance in a manner that will equip them for their duties and responsibilities throughout the school day, and for their future stations in life.

Veritas divides the dress code into “Casual Days” (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) and “Formal Days” (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Veritas will be offering after school care Monday through Friday from 3:15 to 5:30. There will be a charge of $5 per hour per child. This service is available to any family who would need this on a scheduled or as needed basis. Snacks will be provided as well as activities for the younger students. We would also like to make all parents aware when regularly picking up your child after school if your child is not picked up by 3:15 there will be a $5 charge. In order to schedule after school care for your child, or if you want to pick your child up late, please contact Melissa Thompson at 410-5095.

Emergency Contact Form Print

Before the start of the school year, parents need to complete an Emergency Contact Form for each enrolled child.  This form gives us contact information, medical issues, and physican and insurance contacts in case of emergency.

Change of Contact Information Form Print

If you need to change your contact information on file with Veritas, please complete a Change of Contact Information Form and submit it to the school office.  This form gives us family contact information including address, telephone numbers, and emails.

Parent Volunteer Form Print

There are many opportunities for you to be involved in Veritas, stay connected with what your children are doing and volunteer to help out your school. Veritas depends on parent volunteers to help ensure that all of our children receive a quality education.  We have a host of volunteer opportunities to fit your areas of interest, gifting, and availability.  These range from helping out during lunch or cleaning the school to serving as a room parent or being a last-minute substitute teacher.  Please help us plan for the year by filling out the Veritas Volunteer Form and returning it to the school office either in person or electronically.  Thanks!

Laptop Registration Form Print
Any student that would like to use a laptop or other personal computer device during the school day at Veritas for academic purposes must submit a signed Personal Laptop Computer Registration form to the school office prior to bringing the computer to school.

Field Trip Permission Slip Print

Rather then generating separate permission slips for every field trip, Veritas has a universal field trip permission slip.  Please submit this to the school office at the beginning of the academic year.
