Updated August 2010
For returning families, please note that we have some changes for the 2010-2011 academic year. See the attached Dress Code file for more information.
We are committed to building the character of Christ within each upon the individual student's Christian commitment. In keeping with this mission, all students will be expected to maintain a standard of dress conducive to the Excellency of Christ in the learning environment, and at the same time, to govern their personal attire and appearance in a manner that will equip them for their duties and responsibilities throughout the school day, and for their future stations in life.
Veritas divides the dress code into “Casual Days” (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) and “Formal Days” (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
All uniforms (Dress Day and Casual Day) may be purchased through Rose Uniforms, located in the Woods Corner Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. Though the “Casual Day” dress may be purchased elsewhere, to make shopping easy, we have also made it available through Rose Uniforms. The school has a crest, which will be embroidered on many of the uniform pieces, both for Formal Day and Casual Day. The “Formal Day” dress must be purchased through Rose Uniforms.
We are offering many items for the students to purchase through Rose Uniforms, however they are all not required. Please see the uniform policy for what is required and visit the Rose Uniforms store to be fitted. If you would like to see the uniform on line, visit www.roseuniforms.com and click on School Specific Ordering. Next, click on Schools S-Z. Scroll down to find Veritas Christian Academy, Chesapeake.
If there are any questions regarding our dress code policy, please feel free to contact Mr. Mark Keating via the school office.
Please review the attached Dress Code file for all of the details related to the dress code. |
