Our mission at the Conservatory is to create a culture of music which can rightly order the affections of our students; that is, to give order to what it is they love. Since it is our hope to instill in our students the enduring values of truth, beauty and goodness, it is these three fundamental characteristics that we aim to pursue in the study of music. Our goal is to become a student body that creates music together rather than one that simply consumes music in imitation of the culture around us, so that in our music making, soli deo gloria.

“A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.”

― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
